Join Deborah in our Sewing Loft for a fun handbag creating workshop. The Noriko Handbag pattern uses a single pattern piece to make each of the four sides of this unique teardrop bag. This lightweight bag is both graceful and whimsical, and provides wonderful opportunities to showcase your favorite fabric. The gentle curve of the base of the bag offers a stable base, and a graceful silhouette when full. The two side panels can be tucked in toward the center of the bag when not in use, allowing the bag to close flat. Finished size 6 X 6 X 9. Use one of our new Baby Lock sewing machines or bring your own.
Materials needed:1/2 yd cover fabric, 1/3 yd lining fabric, 1″ button for front closure, 1/4 yd of (1/4″ or 3/8″ wide) ribbon for bottom loop, Optional Tassel: 1 yd 1/8″ wide ribbon + 6 decorative beads or buttons.
