The Nuno Felting technique involves learning how to construct silk and wool fabrics

This exciting but simple technique involves applying a very thin layer of silk & fibers to a scarf base. Using a lamination process with lots of water, a little soap, and gentle agitation, students will create a colorful, multi textured silk scarf. Create a beautiful art piece to wear!

This is a physical process. You must feel comfortable with a rolling pin type of motion that is used to meld the fibers together. You can use your hands or fore arms. The felting is done in 5 minute increments so you can pace yourself. (Any questions please email Dott at [email protected])

Please bring 2 towels (Ages 10+). Space in class is limited.
