The Seacoast ArtSpot is thrilled to welcome Sara Desjardins into our community! Sara is here to teach our Intro to Pyrography class. Pyrography, also known as wood burning, is the art of creating beautiful images on wood using special heat tools. This wood burning class is perfect for those looking to try a new art form or who have been wanting to experiment with the pyrography medium! Students can expect to learn introduction level techniques as they create a beautiful piece of artwork! Sara will cover wood types and surface preparation, transferring images or freehand sketching, and using a pyrography tool for shading and texture. 

The $15 supply fee will include a 7- to 9-inch basswood round, pencils, graphite paper, and sandpaper. Fee will be paid directly to instructor at the start of class. 

Sara Desjardins is the owner of Summerfrost Studios and is supported by the NH State Council on the Arts as well as the National Endowment of the Arts! She is an exciting addition to our Seacoast Artspot community!
