The Seacoast ArtSpot is excited to welcome Sara Desjardins to our creative community!

Sara will be leading our brand-new Intro to Pyrography class. Pyrography—also known as wood burning—is the art of creating stunning designs on wood using specialized heat tools.

This beginner-friendly class is perfect for anyone curious to explore a new medium or finally try their hand at wood burning. Students will learn foundational techniques while creating their own unique artwork.

Sara will guide participants through:

• Choosing wood types & preparing surfaces

• Transferring images or freehand sketching

• Using pyrography tools for shading & texture

Join us for this inspiring workshop and discover the beauty of pyrography with Sara’s expert guidance!

The $15 supply fee will include a 7- to 9-inch basswood round, pencils, graphite paper, and sandpaper. Fee will be paid directly to instructor at the start of class. 

Sara Desjardins is the owner of Summerfrost Studios and is supported by the NH State Council on the Arts as well as the National Endowment of the Arts! She is an exciting addition to our Seacoast ArtSpot community!
