Led by Sewing Specialist Jan Hunt, this 6-week beginning sewing class introduces students to fiber arts in a friendly, supportive environment.
To begin, kids will learn hand stitching and practice sewing on paper. This builds essential skills and confidence.
Next, they’ll transition to using our easy-to-operate Baby Lock sewing machines to complete several creative beginner projects.
Finally, students will make a personalized pillowcase—a class favorite they’ll be proud to take home and show off.
Each week builds on the last, giving students a strong foundation while keeping things fun and engaging.
Because class size is limited, every child receives plenty of personal attention and encouragement along the way.
Jan’s warm and engaging teaching style helps students feel successful at every step of the process.
