Basket Weaving Workshop: Muffin Basket! $65 + $15 material fee
Learn one of the oldest crafts in history—basket weaving—as you create your own beautiful and functional muffin basket. For thousands of years, cultures around the world have used basketry to craft durable, everyday vessels from materials close at hand. In this hands-on class, you’ll carry on that tradition while gaining the skills to make your own sturdy, attractive basket to take home and use for years to come. This muffin basket is 5x7x4. It’s on the smaller side of baskets but it is mighty. Make some muffins or cookies and bring them to a friend. Store condiments in it for a BBQ. Or roll up some hand towels and keep on display in the bathroom. The uses are endless. You will learn how to work with different lengths of spokes, how to create your own handle and how to wrap the handle so it’s strong and sturdy.
Cost is $65 + $15 materials fee paid directly to the instructor, includes all materials and tools needed to create your own basket

Class Cancellation Policy
Class cancellations up to 48 hours prior to the event will receive either a credit towards a future class OR a refund minus a 15% cancellation fee
Class no-shows or cancellations, for any reason, with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded or credited.
Multi-Week Classes-You will not be eligible for a refund if you miss a class or classes during a multi-week session. Multi-week classes are nonfundable.
Weather: We determine our cancellations based on the weather in Portsmouth. If we decide to cancel a class due to weather, we will email all attendees at least 2 hours before the start of class. If you do not hear from us, the class will proceed on time. If the class is cancelled due to weather. We will offer a make-up date. If you can not attend the make-up class, we will happily return your money, or you may keep it as an ArtSpot credit.
Camp Cancellation Policy
Cancellations up to 7 days prior to the start date of a camp session will receive either a credit towards a future camp session OR a refund minus a 20% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 1 week of a camp session start date will receive a credit towards a future camp session.
Camp cancellations within 72 hours /no-shows will not be refunded or credited.
All tickets are transferable. Please note that if the minimum number of participants has not been met for any classes, they may be canceled or rescheduled. In this case, alternative class times may be offered, or registration fees will be fully refunded. All tickets are transferable.
