A study in Masters: A Series of paintings from Dutch and French Post-Impressionism to Austrian Symbolism
Join award winning artist and former art gallery owner, Amelia Hyde as she walks you through a step by step process on how to paint like Van Gough and create a post-impressionist take home masterpiece. These classes will take place in our outside classroom as long as weather permits. In the case of in climate weather the class will take place inside.
Absolutely no skill or previous painting experiences required. We will paint as a group, but you will receive individual instruction as well. Amelia will provide you with the confidence to All materials included.
Vincent Willem van Gogh: was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter who is among the most famous and influential figures in the history of Western art.
Paul Cézanne: French painter, one of the greatest of the Post-Impressionists, whose works and ideas were influential in the aesthetic development of many 20th-century artists and art movements, especially Cubism.
Gustav Klimt: was an Austrian symbolist painter and a prominent member of the Vienna Secession movement. He is known for his decorative style, eroticism, and rebellion against traditional academic art
