Don’t you love those fun comfy mittens sold at Craft Fairs!! Create your own cozy pair of mittens in this fun and sustainable mitten making workshop! Bring along a favorite wool sweater to repurpose, and under Jan’s expert guidance you’ll transform it into a warm, one-of-a-kind pair of mittens. She’ll walk you step by step through cutting, sewing, and finishing techniques, ensuring you leave with a handmade pair that fits your style.

With only 6 students per session, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, hands-on learning experience with plenty of personalized support. This workshop on mitten making is open to adults as well as teens and tweens. It’s a wonderful way to learn new skills, practice sustainability, and take home a thoughtful gift—for yourself or someone you love!

Our Sewing Studio is equipped with Baby Lock machines, perfect for our mitten making workshop. You must have basic sewing experience, know how to thread a machine and sew a straight line. Bring your sweater and all other materials will be provided.

Choose from 9-12:30PM or 1:30-5PM.

Please note: Our sewing studio is in our 2nd floor loft. There are 13 stairs, a cozy space for mitten making workshops.
